When it can be done (!), this approach can immediately place you past their remarks and promote active thinking on addressing that person's concerns. The hope is you will assess the validity of the attack and create a positive response. Words from the experienced: Good luck with that!! Now, I also have the Nathan approach of "just watch it sail by and don't grab hold of it!"
